Last night I rushed home from ballet to catch the second half of Glee. McKinley's glee club is the genuine dream team - jocks, cheerleaders; gays, handicaps; and one overly ambitious/slightly obnoxious Rachel. Oh and a lot of talent. Juicy.
As I was watching I revived some memories of an old dance costume. Here's the DIY for holey tights:
Sheer blue American Apparel tights. Opaque black Capezio tights.
+Make your initial cuts smaller than you want- they will stretch tremendously.
+Use sheer tights underneath and opaque on top to give it some dimension.
I love tights:
Specifically American Apparel's. The basic and two-toned (shown above) are perfect, but the store has everything from shimmer to sparkle; from textured to fishnets.
